Workplace management configuration

Find information about how to configure workstation preferences in the Wise staff client.

The Configuration screen is located at Branch management > Workplace management > Configuration. On the configuration screen, you can control the settings of the workstation, such as the use of peripherals, service desk profiles, and how logging is done. Configuration sections are listed in tab sheets.

  • Port properties
    Access details of a workstation's ports in the Wise staff client.
  • Service desk profiles
    Learn how to assign or change the service desk profile for a workstation. The service desk profile determines the starting screen for the client and how receipts are printed from the workstation in the Wise staff client.
  • Session details
    Learn how to view the session details of a working session in the Wise staff client.
  • Peripherals
    Learn how to configure peripheral devices (e.g., receipt printers, RFID readers) in the Wise staff client.
  • Preferences
    Find information to configure the barcode type, fonts, branch offline folder, cash drawer, RFID animation, and system notifications in the Wise staff client.
