Management organizations
Library organizations, financial organizations, and branches are defined within the Wise configuration manager at Management organizations.
Management organizations configuration is in the OCLC Wise section of the Wise configuration manager.
- Financial organizations
- The registration method and the management of financial items (fines and fees) of customers are organized per Financial Organization in Wise.
- Library organizations
- Libraries are configured at the system level in Wise configuration. The Library organization, or system, is created and then settings are configured for that system.
- Branches
- A branch is always part of a library system and a sector in Wise. It can be a real location or an administrative branch created to fill a specific purpose (e.g., a lending branch, a point of service, employee branch and/or a mobile library).
- Addresses
- Addresses and contact information for systems, suppliers, and vendors are edited within Addresses.
- Networks and branch groups
- Groups of branches can be linked through networks and branch groups to serve different functions, such as sharing materials and borrowing trends in Wise.
- External systems
- Connection to third-party services can be defined in External systems.
- Management organizations system tables
- System tables provide information for configuring the management organization settings for your system.
