Fixed branch reports

Learn how to create branch reports in the Wise configuration manager.

Branch reports are generated in the Wise configuration manager, under Management Organizations > Branches. The reports generated from this screen are fixed and fields cannot be chosen. Two different reports can be generated in this section.

All branches 

To generate a report that displays information about all of the branches:

  1. Click Report at the top of the screen.
  2. Select your Library Organization from the Organization drop-down menu.
  3. Do not select a value from the Branch menu; leave this field set to <Empty>.
  4. (Optional) Check the box Elaborate report. Checking this box will result in a report with information from all of the branch tabs.
  5. Click Ok. A new browser tab will open. It will display an overview of all of the branches in your Library Organization with the following columns:
    • Branch
    • Name
    • Category
    • Sector
    • Municipality
    • CBS

Individual branch 

To generate a report that displays information a single branch:

  1. Click Report at the top of the screen.
  2. Select your Library Organization from the Organization drop down menu.
  3. Select the branch you want to create a report for from the Branch drop down menu.
  4. (Optional) Check the box Elaborate report. Checking this box will result in a report with information from all of the branch tabs.
  5. Click Ok. A new browser tab will open. It will display an overview of all of the branches in your Library Organization with the following columns:
    • Branch
    • Name
    • Category
    • Sector
    • Municipality
    • CBS

View your reports 

To change the view of branch reports, use the functions in BIRT and Excel.

  • With Branch, choose Legend and click Ok to create a BIRT report of all branches and all fields.

To export your report:

  1. Go to the created report.
  2. Click on the third icon at the top of the screen, Export data. A new screen appears.
  3. For Available results sets, select Table.
  4. Select the columns you would like to export from the Available Columns list. To select multiple columns, hold Ctrl and click on your selected columns.
  5. Select your preferred Export formatOutput encoding and Separator.
  6. Click Ok to confirm. Select whether to open or save your file.
