SCAT management
Learn how to define statistical categories (SCAT) for tracking materials in Wise.
SCAT codes are configured in the Wise configuration manager at OCLC Wise > Titles and SCAT management > SCAT management. Statistical categories (SCAT) are used to track the circulation of materials. SCAT codes are determined based on the age category of the title, fiction or non-fiction designation, and genre. SCAT codes affect much of the functionality within Wise such as statistical reporting, collection management (BCB), acquisitions, budget creation, marketing, and customer areas of interest.
