Process a hold request with no items
Learn how to process a hold request for a title with no items.
If a hold request is placed, but the only item in the system has the item status of M - Missing, the request will need to be processed in another way.
- Discard the item that has been marked missing.
- Search for the hold request that includes the discarded item. You have two options:
- Press F9 and change the status of the request.
- Click Change and replace the title with an available title.
