View selected title results

Learn about the different options available when viewing selected title results in a catalog search.

If the results of a catalog search contain more than one title, a screen will open displaying the first 24 titles from the search results.

Click the Show more button at the bottom of the screen to display additional results (50 titles are added with each click) or click the All titles button to retrieve all titles in the search results. Clicking Print at the bottom-right of the results list will open the print menu. The following options for configuring printing are available:

  • Overview
    • Compact: Select this for a compact overview showing only the title, author, publication year, and ISBN.
    • ISBD block: Select this for an overview that includes the ISBD block.
    • Extra details: Check this option to specify which additional title details you want to see in the report (status, genre, SISO, etc.).
    • Items: Select this to choose which items you want to see: your own branch, Group 1, Group 2, etc.
  • Order

Right-clicking on a title in the search results will open a menu. The functions available in this menu depend on your permissions and whether you have selected one or more titles. See Menu options when selecting multiple titles below for more information about the right-click menu options available when multiple titles are selected.

Right-click menu options

There are two different menus that can be opened with a right-click in the search results list, depending on whether a single title or multiple titles have been selected.

Menu options for a single selected title

Some of the available options will require permissions in order for them to appear. If the user does not have the required permission for an option (at least Edit (3-0-0) at the branch level ), the option will be grayed out. The following menu options are available when a single title has been selected:

Edit Select this option to open the Title changes screen for the selected title. For more information about title descriptions and how to edit them, see Title relationships.

Subscription Select this option to open the Subscriptions screen for a periodical. See Create and manage subscriptions for more information.
