Titles
Learn how to manage title data within the Wise configuration manager.
Tables that manage title data are stored in Wise configuration manager. These tables are used to manage title information and are used for reporting in the staff client.
- Categories
- The Categories table contains title codes and their definitions. Any changes to this table must be requested through OCLC.
- BcPica
- This table is not for use in US libraries.
- (NBDMAT) NBD items
- This table is not in use by US libraries.
- Titles system tables
- The system tables found in Titles support Category codes.
- Occupancy
- Occupancy tables can only be edited by OCLC staff. These are not for use in US libraries.
- MARC 21
- Manage metadata that control MARC records in the MARC 21 tables. These tables should only be edited by OCLC staff.
- Media Description Type (MDT)
- The MDT (media description type) defines the different media types and icons for items.
