(CG5) Do not show copy status values

This table is used to indicate which item statuses are available to view in the web catalog and which statuses should be suppressed. For example, your library may not want to display the status of items that have been withdrawn in the web catalog.

To suppress an item status:

  1. In the Wise configuration manager, go to OCLC Wise > Catalog > System tables > (CG5) Do not show copy status values.
  2. Click New. The Do not show copy status values window opens.
  3. The Type field is automatically filled by the system (CG5). Select a Branch from the drop-down list.
  4. In the Do not show copy status values field, enter the status code(s) that you wish to suppress from the web catalog. See Item status for codes. Enter the code only and do not enter spaces. Example: Enter AMI to suppress items that are Discarded, Missing, and On order.
  5. Click OK to save.
