Fee revenue overview per state

Generate a report of revenue generated from customer fees by location in the Wise staff client.

The Fee revenue overview per state displays an itemized list of membership fee proceeds for a specified period by district/region where customers live. The purpose of this overview is to be able to itemize the membership fees according to regions for library organizations that are active in multiple locations.

To create this overview:

  1. Go to Financial > Overviews > Fee revenue overview per state. The Membership fee revenues per state screen opens.
  2. Provide overview information. Required fields are marked with an (*) asterisk. 
    Field Description
    Institution Choose the institution to display in the report.
    Ledger period (yymm..yymm)*

    Fill in the period for when the membership fee revenues will be displayed per state, separated by two periods.
    Example: February 2018 = 1802, May 2018 = 1105

  3. Click Create report. The report is generated in your web browser window.

View the report

The overview will show itemized lines according to the district code of a customer at the time when the overview was generated. There is no way to count according to journal entry and/or payment time of the membership fee. If no district code is known for a customer or the use of the district code has not been configured, the main ZIP code of the customer will be used as the district code in the overview. If configured, the description of the district displays for each district code in the district table.
