Marketing tab

Learn how to view and edit customer marketing preferences in the Customer administration section of the Wise staff client.

The ninth tab on the Customer administration screen manages marketing preferences for the customer. For more information, see Newsletter.

The following information is editable within the Marketing tab: 

Field Description
Target group If your library system makes use of target groups, the defined groups will display in this drop-down list.
OPT-OUT categories | Block this customer for The contact methods below can be blocked or allowed as ways for the library to contact the customer. If the customer does not wish to be contacted in a particular way, select Yes.
All information Select Yes and the library will not contact the customer at all. The customer will not receive newsletters from the library.
Marketing messages Select Yes and the library will not send marketing messages to the customer.
Contact via mail Select Yes to block mail messages from the library.
Contact via email Select Yes to block email messages from the library.
Contact via phone Select Yes to block phone calls from the library.
Via website/my menu Select Yes to direct messages via the library website/My Account from the library.
Available customer labels

There are three types of customer labels:

  • System labels
  • Available customer labels
  • Import labels

Only the available customer labels are shown in this table if they have been assigned to the customer by the library or by the customer via My Account. System labels are not displayed because they apply to all customers.

Newsletters Displays the newsletters to which the customer is subscribed. If the customer has not subscribed to any newsletters, a message appears: This customer has indicated they do not wish to receive any newsletter.
