Customer tab

Learn how to view customer information in the Customer administration section of the Wise staff client.

The first tab in the customer administration screen contains key customer information. The data on this screen cannot be changed.

Field Description
Registration date Date when the customer was added to the system.
Cards Library cards associated with this account.
Statistical category Each customer is assigned a statistical category. This code is used for counting certain groups of customers and the age category to which the customer belongs.
Membership The customer's library account type.
Phone The phone number provided when the account was created. This can be edited on the Address details tab.
Iban Not for use in US libraries.
Last change Date of the last change to the customer account. The employee ID number of who made the change displays in parentheses after the date.
Email Email address provided when the account was created. This can be edited on the Address details tab.
Details

The details will include a note if:

  • There are notices about the customer on the Notification tab
  • The email address is missing for the customer
  • The account has been canceled
Checked out, current period Number of items borrowed in the current period (as defined by your library, usually in the current year).

 Note: This is not the number of items currently checked out, it is a count of the customer's loan history.

Checked out, previous period Number of items borrowed in the previous period (as defined by your library, usually in the past year).
Total

Total number of items borrowed by the customer.

 Note: This is not the number of items currently checked out, it is a count of the customer's loan history.

Graph Click the Graph button to display a graph of items borrowed by the customer per year.

Click the refresh button at the bottom of the page to refresh the information on the screen.
