Collections agent process
Learn how to define settings related to the collections agent process in the Wise configuration manager.
Create a Collections agent process
- In Wise configuration manager, go to Products and services > Memberships > Membership process > Collections agent process.
- Click Open next to your library organization.
- Click New at the top of the screen.
- Provide information for the Collections agent process fields.
- Click Ok to save.
Collections agent process fields
Field name | Description |
---|---|
Organization | The organization from which the collections agent items are generated. |
Collections agent process | A two-digit numerical code. |
Description | Describes the method. |
Block | Check this box to indicate that the customer will be blocked at the service desk and from self-service kiosks once their information has been turned over to the debt collection agency. |
Notification | Check this box if the system should display a notification when the customer registers at the service desk or self-service kiosk. |
Collections agent after xxx days | The number of days until a notice is sent. The sending date is included in the financial lines. |
Book code | As soon as outstanding items are selected and are eligible to be sent to the collections agency, a debit entry is made for the items immediately after selection. The collection agency code is used in financial reporting. |
