(TABKSC) ShelfCon classification
Learn how to assign shelf conversion rules in the Wise configuration manager.
Shelf conversion rules are assigned in the (TABKSC) ShelfCon classification table. This table must include at least one classification definition in order for the system to function correctly. If a branch or group of branches uses structurally different placements, multiple ShelfCon conversions can be defined. The ShelfCon code is applied to each branch in Management organizations > Branches on the Items tab, in the ShelfCon [shelf configuration] classification field. For more information, see Items tab.
To assign or edit a ShelfCon classification:
- In the Wise configuration manager, go to OCLC Wise > Items and Locations > Local location management > (TABKSC) ShelfCon classification.
- Click New to create a new assignment, or click Detail next to a line to edit. The Shelf con. window opens.
- Enter or update shelf conversion information:
