Calendar

Learn how to update the calendar to define holidays, open dates, and closed dates for your institution.

Calendars for your library system are managed per location and month in the Wise configuration manager. In the manager, you can generate and maintain calendars for all of your branches. The calendars are defined to tell the system and your customers the status of each location each day of the year. Calendar configuration is used to set holidays and closed dates that vary from the standard weekly opening pattern of each branch. Standard weekly patterns are established per branch in Management organizations > Branches on the Service desk tab, under Weekly pattern - days of operation.

The following statuses can be set for your locations:

  • Open
  • Closed
  • Vacation
  • Fine-free day
  • Not yet generated

The calendar can also be updated at the branch level in the staff client. For more information, see Calendar.
