Why aren't there Regular or Temporary Shelf options in Batch Changes?

Answer

If you are signed into a branch that does not have shelves configured (an Acquisitions branch, for example), then there will not be any shelves listed in the Regular Shelf or Temporary Shelf dropdown menus. In order to change the shelf for the batch of items selected you must first select a branch, then the shelves configured for said branch will populate the Regular Shelf and Temporary shelf dropdown menus.
