Print notifications

Learn how to print prepared customer billing notifications in the Wise staff client.

After you Prepare notifications for printing, the notifications can be printed.

 Note: If billing notifications are sent via email, the steps below are not necessary. Email messages are processed during the next run of the notamail job

To print notifications:

  1. Go to Notifications > Print notifications. The Print notifications screen opens with a list of notifications available to print.
  2. Select the lines that you want to print and check the box(es) to print and/or create a PDF of the selected notifications. 

     Note: After selecting lines, the line will change colors depending upon what stage the notification job is in. 

    • Purple - The notification is selected for printing
    • Yellow - The job is running
    • Green - The job is complete
  3. Click on the print action button you want to perform:
    • Print selected lines - the print notifications are sent to the networked printer
    • Show as PDF - the notifications are generated into PDF format
    • Print locally - the print notifications are sent to your local printer

A copy of each printed notification is saved as a PDF on the Wise server. If an error occurs during the print process, a copy is available on file. Notifications can be found in this file: home/bxmas/berichten/vestmap  Because not everyone has access to the server, all notifications can be retrieved via the staff client.

After printing preparation is complete, the date is added to the item. Once the notification is printed, a notification line containing information about the date, type, and barcode is saved in the customer account. For more information, see Customer correspondence
