Notification overdue/replacement cost bills

Learn how to create and process overdue and replacement cost bills for customers in the Wise staff client.

Based on your library's material Billing process configuration, reminder notifications are generated from the bills table. If reminders are configured, the system will look at the bills table for lines that require a reminder. These lines are selected and prepared for printing. It is important to perform this process regularly.

A branch can be the billing administrator for multiple branches. Billing authorization is configured in the Wise configuration manager. Ask your system administrator for more information.

To generate overdue and replacement cost bill notifications:

  1. Go to Notifications > Bills > Notification overdue and replacement cost bills. A print window opens.
  2. Click OK. A confirmation message appears.   Note: You need only click once to start the print job. If you double-click, a second job will be started. A notification appears when the button is double-clicked, Attempt to start job multiple times. Successfully completed.
  3. Go to Notifications > Prepare notifications for printing and prepare the selected bills.
  4. Go to Notifications > Print Notifications to print the reminders.
