Edit closed request information

Learn how to edit closed ILL request information in the Wise staff client.

Closed requests may be updated to include return information. Once a request has been closed, it will no longer display in ILL/Holds on the customer or Holds screen. However, these requests can still be retrieved and edited.

  1. Go to Items > Request items > Edit closed request information. The Search request window opens.
  2. Enter a Request ID, Title, Author, and/or Supplying system.
  3. Click OK. Search results are displayed on the screen.
  4. Edit or add information to the request.
  5. Click OK to save.

 Note: Closed requests are stored for two months based on end date.
