Generate and print copy labels

Labels of available customer numbers can be generated and printed.

  1. Go to Items > Labels > Print item or customer labels.
  2. Select Customers from the Label type.
  3. Enter the Number of labels to be generated, select a Branch if it is not the current branch, and a Start with number.
  4. Select one of the Barcode style sheets.
  5. Optional. Select Customer name from the Sorting drop-down menu.
  6. Click Print.

The customer numbers are generated and printed. Because Wise remembers which number was last generated, double customer numbers are not printed.

Print a list of unused generated customer numbers

A list of unused system-generated customer numbers can be retrieved and sent to the printer to create customer labels. Your software administrator can do this using the following process:

  1. Go to Items > Labels > Print item or customer labels.
  2. Select Customer for Label type.
  3. Enter the Number of labels to be generated.
  4. Select a print style sheet or a custom style sheet.
  5. Click Print.
    • If you are using your own style sheet, you are finished once you select your printer
    • If you need to format the labels before printing, save as a print file.
      1. Open the file and copy the first generated number.
      2. Go to the mysqu-prompt and enter the following command:
        select zebra from spine label where batch=(select batch from spine label where zebra="xxxxxxxxx");
replacexxxxxxxxxwith the first generated number. This will create a list of all generated unused numbers.
      3. Copy and paste this list into a document and print it.
