Transportation overview

Learn how to create a report of all items in Transport status.

The Transportation overview provides a report of all items with the status T - Transport. If a branch wants to check a new shipment, they can create this report and then begin checking items in. This report can also be used after processing a new shipment to ensure that all items were successfully transported.

To create this overview:

  1. Go to Items > Overviews > Transportation overview. The Transportation overview screen opens.
  2. Provide overview information. Required fields are marked with an (*) asterisk.
    Field Description
    Branch from Select the branch that put an item on transport. Use ctrl+click to select multiple branches.
    Branch to* Select the branch to which an item is to be transported. Use ctrl+click to select more than one branch.
    Period (up to and including) Enter the period of time when transportation started and ended.
    Type

    Select a type:

    • A - All transport, items with status T
    • N - New items, items with status T and substatus N
    • R - Rest/Other, all items with a different substatus N
    Sorting

    Select a method for sorting the results:

    • 1 - from/to/date/title (default)
    • 2 - from/to/shelf
    • 3 - from/to/label
  3. Click Create report. The report is generated in a new browser window.

The report is sorted by receiving branch and each branch displays on a new page. Data in the shelf and label columns are determined by the item. The placement can differ from the placement code in the relevant library.

The following information is displayed for each item:

  • from (the branch code and name appears)
  • to (the branch code and name appears)
  • barcode
  • title
  • date
  • SCAT
  • material type
  • shelf
  • label
