Waive fines or fees
Learn how to waive customer fines or fees in Wise.
Fines or fees can be waived within the Wise client in Customer administration. To waive customer fines or fees:
- Search for the customer whose fines or fees need to be waived. Open their account.
- In the top menu, navigate to Customer > Financial > Fines and registration fees.
- Select the line item you want to waive the payment for and click Waive in the blue bar at the bottom of the screen. The waive window appears.
- Provide a reason for waiving the payment, employee initials and the amount to be waived.
- Click OK and the items will display as paid.
