Clear cache
Learn how to clear the cache of the Wise staff client to update changes made to configuration.
The local cache (memory) contains the files with layout information for receipts. If a receipt is changed on the server, the old receipt may remain in the cache, causing an old layout to display or print. You may also need to clear the cache when configuration changes are made in the Wise configuration manager to prompt the updates to display in the staff client. To refresh the system, use Clear cache.
To clear the cache:
- Go to Branch management > Workplace management > Clear cache. A confirmation message appears: Cache has been erased. Update resources (i.e. style sheets) immediately?
- Click Yes. A confirmation message appears: Resources have been updated.
- Click OK. The cache is cleared.
