Salutation and addressing
When sending marketing messages, it is possible to select a specific header and addressing method for the message. The salutation can be linked to the gender and/or age of the customer receiving the message.
Create header and address processes
The Wise system has the ability to reference a customer's provided gender and age to determine an appropriate salutation. If your library does not configure a process for determining salutations, the system will use the default process, which uses the same salutation for customers of all ages and genders. Multiple salutation and address processes can be created for compiling an address and/or composing the header of a message.
To create a salutation and address process:
- Add a new Addressing configuration code.
- In the Wise configuration manager, go to SystemWise > Marketing > Salutations and address > (TABMAD) Salutation and addressing, main configurations to add a new Addressing configuration code.
- Click New. The Addressing configurations window opens.
