Thesaurus: author synonyms

Creating author synonyms in the thesaurus

To create an author synonym:

1. Login to the Wise staff client
2. Navigate to Titles > Edit thesaurus
3. Click Choose thesaurus > Author etc.
4. Search for the author's name that you would like to add a synonym to in the search box at the bottom of the screen (results populate above)
5. Click Enter (on the keyboard)
6. Right click on the correct author
7. Select Show/edit Relationships from the pop-up window
8. Right click (again) on the author's name
9. Select New synonym [author's name]
10. Add the synonym you want to include
11. Click OK
