Summary

Functionality in the Summary section of the Customer data tab within the Wise console has not yet been implemented.

The Summary section of the Customer data tab contains key customer information. The data on this screen cannot be changed.

Field Description
Registration date The date when the customer was added to the system.
Borrowing statistics
Current period The number of items borrowed in the current period (as defined by your library, usually in the current year).

 Note: This is not the number of items currently checked out, it is a count of the customer's loan history.

Previous period The number of items borrowed in the previous period (as defined by your library, usually in the past year).
Total

The total number of items borrowed by the customer.

 Note: This is not the number of items currently checked out, it is a count of the customer's loan history.

Membership The customer's membership type.
Statistical category 

Each customer is assigned a statistical category. This code is used for counting certain groups of customers and the age category to which the customer belongs.

Cards The library cards associated with the customer account. 
Iban Not for use in US libraries.
Comment

The details will include a note if:

  • The email address is missing for the customer
  • The account has been deactivated
Last change Date of the last change to the customer account. The employee ID number of who made the change displays in parentheses after the date.
Staff ID The staff ID number of the last staff member who made a change to this account appears in the Staff ID field. 
Account changes

The Account changes section displays the changes, including date and time, that have been made at the service desk and in My Account.

The changes displayed include:

  • Customer data: changes of address, telephone, email, message preferences, etc.
  • Card numbers (as a result of changing a customer card)
  • Library card costs, deactivations
  • Date and time of bills sent
  • Interest profiles
  • Participation in campaigns
  • Email address - a deleted email address remains visible here
  • School and student number
