Sectors
Find information about sectors within Wise.
Sectors are defined in the Wise system as functional units that offer products and services to customers. Functions for a specific area are offered within a sector in the Wise system.
Sectors
The following sectors exist in the Wise system:
- BIEB - Public libraries
- EDUB - Not currently used in US libraries. Media centers for primary education
- EDUV - Not currently used in US libraries. Media centers for secondary education
- THEA - Not currently used in US libraries. Theater
Sectors are organized based on the licenses your institution has purchased from OCLC and are activated for your institution by OCLC. BIEB is currently the only sector used by US libraries.
