Journal overview

Learn how to create a journal overview for invoiced items in the Wise staff client.

The Journal overview can be used if your library has linked your financial tables with your budgets and bookkeeping. This report displays an overview by ledger code for accounting.

To create a journal overview:

  1. Go to Titles > Order administration to open the Order administration screen.
  2. Go to Options > Journal overview. The Journal overview window opens.
  3. Provide information about the overview you want to generate:
    Field Description
    Administrator Not an editable field, this displays the code of the branch that is logged into the staff client.
    Period (up to and including) Enter the period of time to view in the report.
    Vendors Select a vendor from the list.
    Invoice number(s)

    Enter the invoice number(s) to display in the report. Multiple invoice numbers can be entered, separated by a vertical bar ( | ).

  4. Click Agree. The report is generated in a new browser window.
