Order overview

Create a variety of order overviews in the Wise staff client.

A variety of order information can be viewed using Order overview.

To create an order overview:

  1. Go to Titles > Order administration to open the Order administration window.
  2. Go to Options > Order overview. The Order overview window opens.
  3. Provide information about the overview you want to generate:
    Field Description
    Administrator Not an editable field, this displays the code of the branch that is logged into the staff client.
    Order IDs Enter the order number(s) to display in the report. Multiple order numbers can be entered, separated by a vertical bar ( | ).
    PO Number Enter the PO number(s) to display in the report. Multiple PO numbers can be entered, separated by a vertical bar ( | ).
    Invoice numbers Enter the invoice number(s) to display in the report. Multiple invoice numbers can be entered, separated by a vertical bar ( | ).
    Title codes Enter the title code(s) to display in the report. Multiple title codes can be entered, separated by a vertical bar ( | ).
    Branches Select the branch(es) you want to include in the report. Use ctrl+click to select multiple branches. 

     Note: To view orders for branches outside of the one you are signed in as you must be signed in with an Acquisitions manager role. 

    Budget year Enter a budget year.
    Budget Enter a budget code.
    Special collection Select a special collection from the list.
    Vendor Select a vendor from the list.
    Ordering date (up to and including) Enter the order date range for the orders.
    Date received (up to and including) Enter the received date range for the orders.
    Invoice date (up to and including) Enter the invoice date range for the orders.
    Payment date (up to and including) Enter the payment date range for the orders.
    Order status

    Select an order status from the list:

    • B - Ordered
    • C - Credited
    • O - Received
    • V- Expired
    Payment status

    Select a payment status from the list:

    • B - Paid
    • F - Invoiced
    • O - Outstanding
    Print Order lines

    Select a print option:

    • Yes - Report includes order number, title, author, title code, quantity, amount, branch number, invoice number, supplier, box/shipment number, budget, item status and invoice status.
    • No - Report includes order number, title, author, title code, quantity and amount.
    Sorting

    Select the sort order from the list:

    • F - Invoice number
    • P - Payment date
    • V - Branch
    • B - Order number
    • D - Sender number
    • O - Order date
    • T - Title code
  4. Click Agree. The report is generated in a new browser window.
