WorldCat batch loading
Learn how to load a batch of WorldCat title records to your Wise catalog in the Wise staff client.
Use the WorldCat batch loading option to upload a file of WorldCat titles directly to the Wise catalog. You must have a comma delimited file of titles saved locally in order to use this function.
- Go to Titles > WorldCat batch loading. A file browsing window opens.
- Browse to the file you want to import and click Open. The system evaluates the selected file to determine how many OCLC numbers appear. A confirmation window opens indicating how many OCNs are in the file.
- The file format should be .txt with OCNs separated by comma.
- Only 1,000 OCNs can be imported at a time using this method.
- Click Continue to being the import process.
- Once complete, a confirmation appears indicating how many titles imported successfully.
