Title reviews and ratings
There are two ways to leave feedback on titles in the Wise Community:
- Adding a review
- Rating a title
Note: Title rating is available as of version 8.0.0.
Add a review
In order to add a review, the customer must be logged in and have a Wise Community profile. Reviews can be added by navigating to the title record and clicking on the Review tab near the bottom of the page and then clicking Write your review for this title. It is not possible to write multiple reviews per user for the same title.
You can edit or remove your own reviews at any time. Click Delete to remove the review or Edit to make updates.
Review likes / dislikes
Below each review are buttons to 'like' or 'dislike' the review (thumbs up or down). There is also a button to report abuse. This can only be done on reviews by other users.
Diacritics in reviews
Not all Wise systems allow the use of diacritics in reviews in the same way. Characters such as à, é, ï etc. are not stored. This is due to differences in the software packages/libraries used and how they work with each other and relate to each other.
It is possible to have it set to report in red which characters are not allowed while typing the review. Please contact OCLC Support to enable this functionality.
Rate a title
Customers can also leave feedback by rating a title. Titles can be rated from the title record page by clicking on the stars below the title information. Select the star that correspond to your rating. The number of votes that have been cast for a title will also display.
