Make a payment

Learn about the financial details that can be accessed using My Account.

If enabled in the My Menu configuration, customers can make and review payments for their account via My account. See My Menu configuration for more information

 Note:It is possible to block the use of certain functions in the new OPAC if a customer has fines or fees that have not been paid. In the membership definition, a maximum amount of fines can be set for both the OPAC and self-service. See Membership definitions for more information.

Outstanding

Displays outstanding financial items. Click Pay to submit payment.

 Note: If you have authorized a Relationship with another customer so they can pay fines on your behalf, your fines will appear in this section of that customer's My account.

Payment history

Overview of different types of financial items that have been paid recently. The overview goes back up to one year, and for membership items up to a year and a half. I

  • The default view shows 100 posts per page by default.
  • The most recent items are at the top.
  • If there are more than 100 items within the period of a year,  navigation options will appear at the bottom of the screen.
  • If applicable to a financial item, the title is shown. The title can be clicked through.

Payment status explanations

If a payment has a status, it is explained in the corresponding footnote so that it is not overlooked. These are items:

  • collected by direct debit (*I)
  • that are collected by the collection agency (*D)
  • for which a payment schedule has been agreed (*R)

Items with status * I are not automatically selected for payment nor can they be selected manually by the customer: this prevents a possible double payment.
