Notification preferences

Customers can select the type of notifications they would like to receive within the Notification preferences screen in My Account.

The Notification preferences menu is located in the My Account section of the customer interface. On this page, customers can select which kinds of messages they would like to receive from the library and how those messages will be sent. The screen displays two tabs:

  • Service messages
  • Areas of interest

Service messages tab 

The Service messages tab displays a list of message types. Next to each type, the customer can select their preferred method for being contacted from a drop-down list.

Areas of interest 

Areas of interest can be selected to indicate what kind of information the customer would like to receive from the message. These can be used by the library to send targeted information via newsletter and marketing messages. A list of Available subscriptions appears on the left side of the screen. Click sign up to add a profile to your account. All current subscriptions appear in the Already signed up for list on the right side of the screen. To unsubscribe from a profile, click unsubscribe.
