Log in to the Console with the Wise login platform
Log in with the Wise login platform
When the WISEIDP system option is enabled, logging into the Wise Console (and other staff applications) will work via the Wise login platform. This means that when a user starts the application, a tab will open in the preferred browser. Here, the user can then log in with their regular login details (username/card number and password). It is also possible to log in using multi-factor authentication.
Note: Contact OCLC Support to have the WISEIDP system option enabled.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
When multi-factor authentication is used, employees will need to use an authenticator app in addition to a username and password. To use this feature, the WISEIDP system option must be enabled. The role_function MFA must also be assigned to the desired user roles at the System: Delete (15-15-15) level. Once the option and role_function have been configured, employees can log in to the Console using the authenticator app. The first time the Console opens, you will see the following screen in your browser:

Follow the instructions on the screen to set up multi-factor authentication for Wise. Once the authenticator and account are linked, you will only need the login code generated by the authenticator.
Azure Active Directory
The first time an employee clicks on the Azure Active Directory sign in button, the account must be linked to the login. Once this has been set up, the employee will remain logged in as long as they are logged into the Microsoft environment.
