Membership services
Membership services is located in the Wise configuration manager at OCLC Wise > Products and services > Memberships > Membership settings > Membership services. One or more membership service must be linked to each membership. This section is configured after you have defined your membership services and policies. These services, or products, are defined per Library Organization, Membership Code, Sector, and Type. In the Membership services settings, memberships are defined.
View existing membership services
- In Wise configuration manager, go to Products and services > Memberships > Membership settings > Membership services.
- Click Open next to your Library Organization.
- Click Detail next to the definition you want to view.
Add new membership services
- In Wise configuration manager, go to Products and services > Memberships > Membership settings > Membership services.
- Click Open next to your Library Organization.
- Click New at the top of the screen.
- Provide information for the membership services fields.
- Click Ok to save the definition.
Edit membership services
- In Wise configuration manager, go to Products and services > Memberships > Membership settings > Membership services.
- Click Open next to your Library Organization.
- Click Detail next to the membership charges you want to edit.
- At the bottom of the Membership services screen, click the radio button next to Change.
- Make changes to the membership services.
- Click Ok to save the membership services.
Membership services fields

Choose a product from the product group. Only one policy can be selected per membership, but multiple punch card groups can be included. This selection is defined in (TABPRO) Policy groups |

Complete this section only if you selected the Product group R - Policy and if the customers of your library organization are also allowed to borrow at other library organizations under the same Wise system. This selection is defined in (TABREG) Product linking. |
| Not for internal guest customers |
Complete this section only you selected the Product group R - Policy. This section is intended to control which policy must be used for internal guest borrowers. A value for a product linkage can be included for multiple policies. Check this box for policies that are not to be used for internal guest customers. Wise will search for the first policy, sorted by membership number, for a guest borrower with the value of the product linkage of this customer for which the "not for internal guest lending" check box is unchecked. For the institution's own customers with this policy, this product linkage is used at other institutions. |
