Enable self-service licenses
Find information to enable self-services licenses in the Wise configuration manager.
Self-service license
The self-service license can be enabled per institution or per system. To enable the self-service license:
- In the Wise configuration manager, go to systemWise > systemWise > System and terminal licenses.
- Click New at the top of the page. The System and terminal licenses window opens.
- Make the following selections:
Field Value Main group E - WiseClient Group B - Desk License LIC_SERVICE Branch/Institution Your branch/system Start date and end date Date the license begins and ends Vendor Optional. Enter vendor information. - Click OK to save.
RFID license
If your library uses locked boxes for CDs, an additional license must be enabled.
- In the Wise configuration manager, go to systemWise > systemWise > System and terminal licenses.
- Click New at the top of the page. The System and terminal licenses window opens.
- Make the following selections:
Field Value Main group E - WiseClient Group B - Desk License LIC_RFID_conversion Branch/Institution Your branch/system Start date and end date Date the license begins and ends Vendor Optional. Enter vendor information. - Click OK to save.
RFID CD lock box license
If your library uses locked boxes for CDs, an additional license must be enabled.
- In the Wise configuration manager, go to systemWise > systemWise > System and terminal licenses.
- Click New at the top of the page. The System and terminal licenses window opens.
- Make the following selections:
