Change membership
Customers can view and manage membership information via the Change membership screen in My account if the Change membership option has been checked in the Manager under Products and services > Membership > Card Configuration > My Menu configuration.
Current membership
Customers can view the following membership information under Current membership:
- Membership expiration date
- Membership type
- Membership costs (if applicable)
Change membership
To change a membership, select a new membership under Change membership and click Confirm change subscription.
Note: The newly selected membership will start after the expiration date listed under Current membership. If the customer would like the new membership to take effect immediately, they will need to contact the library to request that staff update their account.
Deactivate account
Customers will also see the option to deactivate their account on the Change membership screen if the option Can deactivate card is checked for the My Menu configuration in the Manager under Products and services > Membership > Card Configuration > My Menu configuration.
To deactivate an account:
- Go to My account > Change membership.
- Select a reason from the Reason of deactivation drop-down menu.
- Once a reason has been selected, click I want to cancel my subscription.
Note: The cancellation of the account will not go into effect until the end of the membership period. Since the membership period is still active until then, a customer can cancel even if they still have materials at home at the time of deactivation.
