Message history
Library customers can see their message history in My account if this functionality is enabled in the Manager. When enabled, customers will see a menu item called Message history.
After clicking on Message history customers will be able to see the same messages that are visible to staff in the Client. Message history is arranged by date. The Subject field describes what kind of message was sent and the title column includes title details related to the message.
While not available as of the 8.0.1 release, a future release will allow customers to view any files generated for the message (ex. for replacement cost billing) in the File column of the message table.
To enable this feature:
- Go to systemWise > Wisecat+ configuration > Wisecat+ menu in the Manager.
- Click Detail next to the institution that the feature should be enabled for.
- Click Change.
- Check the box for Allowed to view message history.
- Click OK to save this change.
