Wisecat+ menu

Find information on how to configure menu options in the new OPAC.

The main menu in the OPAC can be configured per instance. In order to configure this menu, the system option OPACCFG  must be enabled. The default menu or a full custom menu (e.g. Joomla) can be used.

To create a new configuration:

  1. Navigate to systemWise > Wisecat+ configuration > Wisecat+ menu.
  2. Click New at the top left of the screen. To edit an existing entry, click Detail next to the entry.
  3. Select an available Institution from the Institution field.
  4. If desired, enter a custom Favicon. A favicon is the icon you see in the browser tab. The default icon is the Wise logo:

If a different favicon than the default is desired, enter a data URI that points to the appropriate image. A data URI will look like the following abbreviated example:

    data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAA/8AAAP/CAYAA...

  5. If a custom logo is desired, enter the logo to be used. This can be based on the file location on the server or via URL.
  6. Under Top pane, select which items should be shown in the OPAC interface and which should not.
  7. Under Menu configuration, select which menu items should be shown in the OPAC menu and which should not
